It’s roadwork season, so let’s identify the streets that need repair.

Potholes! It’s the equivalent of a curse on Long Island.

These gravelly, asphalt mini graves are the scourge of any commute, spilling coffee and jarring your teeth at every opportunity.

It may have been a mild winter, but the roads around Plainview still need fixing.

Patch is on a quest to uncover the roadways and intersections with the worst potholes. So sound off in the comments section and sound the alarm. Your car – and that minivan full of kids on the way to lacrosse practice – will thank you.

Spring kicks off road repair season. We’ll take your concerns to the highway department and get timetable for repair.

And don’t forget to check our Plainview traffic map, powered by Mapquest.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
