Family History Workshop
Please join us for the Jewish Genealogy Society of Long Island's (JGSLI) 22nd annual family history workshop, "Jewish Genealogy 101: Four Hours+ to Your Family Roots" The workshop is is a half-day course on sources and strategies essential for Jewish Genealogy research and is recommended both for beginners and for family historians who want to brush up or expand their skills.
Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 from 12:30 to 5 p.m. at the Mid-Island Y-JCC, 45 Manetto Hill Road, Plainview, NY (two blocks north of Old Country Road).
Cost is $45 per person ($55 after Jan.18). Attendees receive a copy of the workshop manual. A light lunch, bagels and spreads, coffee and cake, will be served.
