Frank Ohman's New York Dance Theatre presents its 31st season of "The Nutcracker" in its entirety at 12:00 and 5:00 pm on Dec. 15, 16, and 22 (six performances). Ohman's production is the largest Nutcracker on Long Island with added music, scenes and dances, and is the only one performed in the tradition of New York City Ballet's legendary George Balanchine. Guest artists DaVon Doane and Jehbreal Jackson, both of the Dance Theatre of Harlem, will join Ohman's troup of eighty children, semi-professional and professional dancers in bringing this holdiay classic to life on the stage of the charming Adams Playhouse at Hofstra University. The role of the young Prince will be shared by Colby Clark and Jeremy Wong, both School of American Ballet students who have performed the role in the Lincoln Center production. Come experience the magic of this popular story ballet and join the hundreds of families who have made NYDT's Nutcracker a holiday tradition! Tickets available online.
