On Sunday, January 27 at 3:30, we will preview three different TV shows: “Serugim,” which means “knit yahmulka,” is about 5 friends who live in one of Jerusalem’s “yuppie” neighborhoods. They struggle with trying to balance work, dating, and religion, in the Modern Orthodox world. “Ramzor” (“Traffic Light”) and “Arab Labor” are sitcoms set in Israel. “Arab Labor” is funny and controversial. It deals with the life of an Israeli Arab who works for an Israeli television station.
All film festival movies are free to the community. Please RSVP to Rosemary via email (rosemary@templechaverim.org) or call 516-367-6100 ext. 101.
