Mattlin Middle School Blood Drive

Save a life and support our 5th graders at the same time!

The Fifth Annual Mattlin Little Doctors Blood Drive will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 in the Mattlin Middle School cafeteria from 3:30pm- 9:30 pm.

This event began with the 5th graders at Mattlin Middle School participating in a presentation in class on the need for, and uses of, blood.  Their teachers have chosen a group of interested students to serve as "Little Doctors" at the drive. These Little Doctors wear scrubs, greet donors, make thank you notes for each donor and help register donors. It is an exciting event for the children and all involved, as well as a learning opportunity about community activism and selfless giving.

Our goal is to collect 50 pints of blood.  Since each pint of blood donated can save up to three lives, our drive could change the lives of up to 150 people. This is especially significant this year since so many other blood drives have been cancelled due to the severe winter weather in our region. Please come down and donate!
