Michael Magro Foundation's Beer and Food Pairings at Crossroads Restaurant in Hicksville
Beer and food, two topics that everyone enjoys. Most of the
time, we enjoy both beer and food with friends and family. Such are the things
that make an enjoyable time for all. And because of this delightful pairing,
Crossroads Restaurant owners Gary and Teddy, along with Chef Paul Magro, came
up with the fabulous idea that a fundraiser could be done for The Michael Magro
Foundation. After all, there were select wine and dinner events, as well as
select scotch and dinner events – why not try a beer and food pairing dinner?
This Sunday, April 27th, that idea becomes a
reality at Crossroads Restaurant, located at 646 South Broadway in Hicksville.
Manhattan Beer has teamed up with Crossroads, to offer five wonderful
varieties. Chef Paul will pair a six course tasting dinner which is sure to
satisfy; some of the items on the menu include:
Steamed mussels with “Southampton Biere De
Mars”, garlic, roasted peppers and feta

Chef Paul will be available for book signings as well; his
cookbook will be available for purchase on the night of the event. Tickets are
$75 per person, which will include all six courses with six beers. A portion of
the proceeds from the event will go to the Michael Magro Foundation.
