Community Corner

Open House Shabbat

Temple Chaverim is hosting a new member open house Friday, May 2, 2014 at 8pm.  The program includes Shabbat
services followed by an extensive Oneg Shabbat. The Temple invites prospective
members to take this opportunity to meet their dynamic clergy and innovative
education director as well as members of our community.

According to Jody Steifman, member of the Temple Chaverim
Membership Committee, "We want to get the message to everyone that
Chaverim means friends, and Temple Chaverim means community. Our members have a
variety of programs and activities to choose from, and we hope that everyone
will become involved. Join for your children but stay for yourselves".

Temple Chaverim is a dynamic Reform Synagogue
which has been meeting the needs of the community since 1982.  Its religious
school serves children from kindergarten through 12th grade, including those
with special needs. In addition, all members, from youth to seniors will find a
variety of educational and social activities. There is no fee to attend
the Open House or any Shabbat service.
