Catch The Wave Hosting Benefit for Spencer Reis Monday
All-day event will see 50 percent of purchases donated to "Spencer Cares Scholarship."
Catch The Wave and Plainview's DECA Club is sponsoring a "Spencer Cares Scholarship" event at Catch The Wave all day Monday.
The Yogurt shop is again hosting a benefit for Spencer Reis, a Plainview student who was lost to cancer more than a year ago. Monday's benefit runs until 10:30 p.m.
Catch The Wave, known as "The Ultimate Yogurt Experience" is located at 1131 Old Country Road in Plainview's Harmon's Plaza.
Catch The Wave offers over 40 toppings and 24 flavors to choose from, two of which are the store's own Coney Island custard. There is also a large selection of shakes and smoothies.Fifty percent of all purchases will be donated to the Spencer Cares Scholarship.
