126 Plainview Students Named 'All-County' Musicians

The Plainview-Old Bethpage School District announced Thursday that 126 middle school and high school music students have been selected to participate in this year’s Nassau Educators Music Association All-County Music Festival.

The students received the prestigious honor based on an extensive criterion, including musical performance, positive letters of recommendation from their teachers and high New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Solo festival scores in order to be considered.

The students will rehearse with music students from across the country, and host a concert at the Tilles Center for the Performing Arts at C.W. Post  in January.
