Plainview Middle School Honors Local Military Veterans
More than 30 area military veterans are served tea and pastries in honor of their service.
Plainview-Old Bethpage Middle School students recently hosted a ceremonial “Veterans Tea” to recognize more than 30 local military veterans and honor their service and dedication.
Eighth grade student-leaders served the honorees tea, homemade breads, cakes and pastries.
The school’s student choir also performed and collected items to donate to the Beacon House, an organization that provides essential items and toiletries for homeless veterans.
