Plainview's Got Talent: The PJC Wants You

Patio Players to produce original entertainment in the style of the iconic T.V. variety shows.

The Patio Players of the Plainview Jewish Center are holding open auditions this week for a new original entertainment show they plan to produce in March. 

The show will be in the style of an iconic T.V. variety shows of the 1960s entitled  “On Broadway.”

The entire community is invited to come out and perform their unique talents for what is being billed as the PJC's "really big shew..."

Singers, dancers, actors, comics, magicians, impressionists, musicians, plate spinners, dog acts, jugglers, mimes, ventriloquists are all welcome.

The auditions are scheduled at the Plainview Jewish Center for Sunday Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. and Thursday Nov. 21 at 7:30 p.m.

The Patio Players are sponsored by The Men's Club at the Plainview Jewish Center, located at 95 Floral Drive, Plainview.

The variety show represents a slight departure from the past three years, where the Patio Players produced the famed Broadway musicals "Fiorello," "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," and "The Music Man."
