POB Community Participates in Jingle Bell Run

Students and teachers support Plainview JFK alum in community run.

Hundreds of Plainview-Old Bethpage students and faculty members, including members of the Girls Varsity Basketball teams, recently participated in the Arthritis Foundation’s Jingle Bell Run.

The students and faculty ran in the event to support Plainview-Old Bethpage alum Brianna Bollettieri.

Brianna, who has Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, is a recent graduate from Plainview JFK and currently a student-athlete at that New York Institute of Technology. Brianna is an ambassador for the Arthritis Foundation and continues to educate her community about her medical condition, which affects more than 300,000 children around the world.
