Town Announces Children’s Shows for January
Hicksville and Plainview libraries to host two shows this weekend.
The Town of Oyster Bay’s 2014 Children’s Magical Music & More series will kick-off with a performance by Monkey Monkey Music at the Hicksville Public Library on Saturday.
The performance will take place at 2 p.m. and is free to all town residents
“The Town is pleased to present its Children’s Magical Music and More series, which helps provide families and children with fun, free entertainment at local schools and libraries throughout the town,” said Councilwoman Michelle Johnson.
“This program, presented to residents free of charge, runs throughout the year and each new month brings with it new performers.”
In addition to Monkey Monkey Music, the town will host a second performance this month featuring the Plaza Theatrical Productions and their performance of Jack Frost.
That performance is scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3:00 p.m. at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Public Library.
The Children’s Magical Music & More series is sponsored by the Cultural and Performing Arts (CAPA) Division of the Town of Oyster Bay’s Department of Community and Youth Services. For further information, call 797-7900.
