Memorial Unveiled in Memory of Spencer Reis
Travel teams retire No. 55, the jersey he wore.
The Plainview-Old Bethpage Soccer Club unveiled a memorial plaque at its travel fields in the memory of Spencer Reis.
In addition the sign (see photo) at the fields on Round Swamp Road, Spencer's number 55 was retired for all travel teams.
Jeff Reis, Spencer's father, was at the dedication and spoke to the team about his son, a Plainview-JFK freshman who died last year from complications of leukemia.
