Week Ahead Hints at Moderating Temperatures, Showers

Forecasters predicting afternoon thunderstorms through the work week.

The National Weather Service says temperatures will be moderate all week long, but Monday may be the only day this week without some rain.

TODAY's 5:

1. Forecasters say afternoon temperatures should be in the low 80s for much of the week. Afternoon thunderstorms are possible through Friday, according to forecasters. No severe weather is predicted.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
