Food for Thought

A short comedy production about the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating habits and physical activity.

Following the donation of a $408,851 grant from Kohl’s Department Stores’ Kohl’s Cares Cause Merchandise program to Cohen Children’s Medical Center of New York, an awareness event including a short comedy production about the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating habits and physical activity was performed at Our Lady of Hope School in Middle Village, Queens.

The donation will support the Cohen Children’s Kohl’s Cares Keeping Kids Healthy Program, which combats the childhood obesity epidemic through fitness and nutrition education as a means to prevent excessive weight gain in childhood. The program partners with area elementary schools to deliver innovative programs, interactive demonstrations and projects that reinforce proper nutrition and exercise through educational concepts.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
