The Long Island Rough Riders have opened tryout registration for Junior Rough Riders teams U-7 through U-13.  Be part of the rich soccer tradition of the Long Island Rough Riders who have been the leaders in developing local talent.

This all-star program allows players to remain with their hometown club, while representing the Rough Rider’s franchise.

The Junior Rough Riders Developmental Program is an 11-month professional youth development program that is affiliated with the Rough Riders Men’s and Women’s soccer franchise.

Individuals who are chosen for the Junior Rough Riders Developmental Program become part of an elite player community. This community represents the best youth players on Long Island.

The program is dedicated to identifying and properly developing players that represent the talent associated with Long Island soccer.  These elite level players train together, forming a cohesive team that can successfully compete at the highest level of the game.

Teams, U-12 and older, will participate in the United Soccer Leagues Super Y-League Mid-Atlantic Division of the Northeast Conference. Certain teams may also participate in national and regional tournaments.

COACHING STAFF
The Long Island Rough Riders are a full-time professional organization that boasts a coaching staff that is one of the best in the nation.  The coaching staff includes over 20 NSCAA and USSF licensed coaches with experience ranging from the United States National Team, Major League Soccer, European professional leagues, Youth National Team, regional teams and top level college soccer programs.  The Rough Riders have assembled an elite coaching staff committed to player development, sportsmanship, professionalism and teaching creative and positive soccer.
