Cops: 4 Burglaries, 3 Robberies Nearby

One burglary reported in Plainview.

Cops reported seven burglaries and robberies in the Plainview area last week.

According to Nassau County Police, four burglaries and three robberies were reported by victims within one week of each other.

In Plainview, one burglary was reported. A perp attempted to enter a house on Express Street, but was unsuccessful and left before taking anything, according to reports.

The Second Precinct reported the following burglaries:

  • March 13: Burglary; Kiran Place, Hicksville; two bags of shrimp stolen.
  • March 15: Burglary; Motor Avenue, Farmingdale; cash, energy drinks stolen.
  • March 18: Burglary; Express Street, Plainview; rear door attempt, nothing taken.
  • March 19: Burglary; Foxwood Drive, Jericho; cash stolen.

In addition, police reported the following robberies:

  • March 13: Robbery; Cantiague Park, Hicksville; cell phone stolen.
  • March 14: Robbery; Hempstead Turnpike, South Farmingdale; jacket, cell phone, cash stolen.
  • March 16: Robbery; Broadway Mall, Hicksville; cell phone stolen.
