Cops: Bethpage Car Smeared with Dog Waste

Police reported five acts of vandalism nearby within two days.

Five cars were vandalized within a span of two days in the Plainview area, Nassau County Police said.

Cars in Plainview, Bethpage, Woodbury, Hicksville, and Levittown were damaged or vandalized on Feb. 25 and Feb. 26.

Incidents ranged from cars being keyed and headlights damaged to a vandal who reportedly smeared dog feces on a car window in Bethpage.

The Second Precinct reported the following burglaries:

  • Feb. 25: Criminal mischief; Werman Court, Plainview; car damage reported.
  • Feb. 26: Criminal mischief; Stewart Avenue, Bethpage; dog feces smeared on car window.
  • Feb. 26: Criminal mischief; Crest Hollow Country Club, Woodbury; car keyed.
  • Feb. 26: Criminal mischief; Old Country Buffet, Levittown; car keyed, tires slashed.
  • Feb. 26: Criminal mischief; Broadway Mall, Hicksville; car headlight damaged.

I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
