Cops Investigating ATM Skimmer at Plainview Bank

Police are seeking public's help

Nassau Police are seeking the public's help in investigating a forgery that occurred in Plainview on Sunday, March 9, at 3:30 p.m.

Detectives say a 32-year-old ATM repairman while doing routine repairs at TD Bank located at 500 Old Country Road discovered a skimming device.  A second device was later located on exterior card entrance.  Detectives further discovered that numerous people's accounts were compromised.  

Detectives are urging anyone who may have used this branch or any in the vicinity to check their accounts for loss.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.  All callers will remain anonymous.
