Cops Need Help in Hicksville Assault

Nassau Detectives seeking leads after man is slashed near Hicksville LIRR station.

Nassau County Detectives are investigating a serious assault that took place early Monday near the Hicksville Train Station.

A 34-year-old male was walking home from the Long Island Rail Road station in Hicksville just before 1:30 a.m. through a private parking when he was accosted by three unknown men.

One of the suspects produced a knife and slashed the victim in the left arm and hand, police said. The incident took place in the rear of 55 Broadway.

The three suspects fled the scene. The victim was transported by police ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries, detectives said.

I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
