Cops Searching for Suspect who Groped Woman in Bethpage

Crime Stoppers asking for public's help in identifying man who attacked woman, 45.

Nassau County Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man wanted in connection with forcibly touching a woman in Bethpage earlier in November.

Crime Stoppers issued an alert Wednesday for the unknown subject pictured in the attached composite sketch. The subject is wanted in connection with a forcible touching case that occurred in Bethpage on Monday Nov. 4 at about 9:20 p.m. in the vicinity of Stewart Avenue and Williams Street in Bethpage, police said. 

The unknown subject approached a 45-year-old woman who was walking to her car from a 7-Eleven store. The subject asked the victim for a light, then asked for a ride before exposing himself and grabbing the victim’s breasts.

He fled along Williams Street and disappeared. 

Police describe the suspect as a while man, 23-28 years of age, 5’6”-5’8” tall, slim build, light complexion, brown eyes, dark hair, brown decaying teeth, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt.
