Nassau County Police Wednesday said they are seeking the public’s help with identifying and locating two people wanted in connection with a case of forgery that took place in Plainview in October.

Shortly before noon on Oct. 5, the pair presented a fraudulent check for $4,427.87 at Capital One Bank located at 1105 Old Country Road, Plainview.

While waiting for the transaction to be completed the subjects became agitated, and fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The subjects have succeeded in cashing fraudulent checks at several Capital One Banks within Nassau and Suffolk Counties, Nassau Police said.

Crime Stoppers is asking anyone who can identify the subjects, or with any
information about this crime to call our toll-free hotline: 1-800-244-TIPS (8477).
