Eight burglaries were reported in the surrounding Plainview neighborhood last week, plus two robberies nearby. Police also made a robbery arrest and a burglary arrest in the region last week.
The Second Precinct reported the following crimes:

- June 25: Burglary; Ditmas Avenue, Uniondale.
- June 26: Grand larceny; E. Main Street, Oyster Bay.
- June 27: Grand larceny; Cortland Avenue, Jericho.
- June 27: Robbery; Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale.
- June 27: Robbery; Milburn Avenue North and Sunrise Highway, Baldwin.
- June 27: Petit larceny; Central Avenue, Bethpage.
- June 27: Raymond Street, Hicksville.
- June 27: Petit larceny; South Oyster Bay Road, Plainview.
- June 28: Burglary; Ditmas Avenue, Levittown.
- June 28: Burglary; Alti Source Bank, Uniondale.
- June 28: Burglary; John Street, Bethpage.
- June 28: Burglary; Westbrook Lane, Roosevelt.
- June 28: Grand larceny; Gloria Place, Plainview.
- June 28: Petit larceny; Miller Place, Syosset.
