Crime Report: Robbery, Grand Larceny

Robbery
The Eighth Squad reported the details of a robbery that occurred on Aug. 19.

According to the detectives, a male subject armed with a gun entered the Island Care Pharmacy at 1163 Old Country Road. Two employees fled when a man jumped behind the counter. Once behind the counter he took 10 to 15 bottles of Oxycodone and fled.
The man is described as wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, white sneakers, a light colored baseball style cap, sunglasses and a bandana covering the lower part of his face.

Detectives are requesting anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.

- On May 1, grand larceny, Carriage Lane, Plainview, diamond bracelet stolen.
- On Aug. 17, petit larceny, Northern Parkway, Plainview, window slashed on automobile.
- On Aug. 17, making graffiti, Crossways Park Drive, Woodbury, spray paint on building.
- On Aug. 17, burglary, Combes Avenue, Hicksville, camera/drills stolen.
- On Aug., 18, criminal mischief, Princess Street, Hicksville, PVC fencing damaged.
- On Aug. 18, criminal mischief, Nassau Avenue, Plainview, window on automobile damaged.
- On Aug. 18, petit larceny, Planet Fitness, Hicksville, driver’s license stolen.
- On Aug. 19, grand larceny, Myers Avenue, Hicksville, automobile stolen.
- On Aug. 19, criminal mischief, Tec Street, Hicksville, Mercedes emblem stolen from automobile.
- On Aug. 19, grand larceny, Beer Lane, Hicksville, mirror on automobile damaged.
- On Aug. 19, grand larceny, Welback Electric, Woodbury, electric wires stolen.
- On Aug. 21, criminal mischief, Broadway Mall, Hicksville, window on automobile broken.
- On Aug. 21, petit larceny, Seymour Lane, Hicksville, license plate stolen from automobile.
- On Aug. 21, petit larceny, Executive Inn, Woodbury, assorted jewelry stolen.
