Crime Report: Weapon Charge at Broadway Mall

Nassau County Police reported three burglaries and one robbery in the area.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Second Precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

, summer kicked off with a burglary spike. Nassau County Police reported three burglaries, one each in Plainview, Bethpage, and Hicksville, in one day.

A robbery was also reported in Oyster Bay. Police did not disclose details of the incident.

Police also arrested Nyshiri N. Singh for criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree at Broadway Mall June 1.

The Second Precinct reported the following crimes:

  • May 23: Grand larceny; Deborah Road, Syosset.
  • May 31: Burglary; Bradford Lane, Bethpage.
  • May 31: Grand larceny; Northern Parkway, Plainview.
  • May 31: Burglary; Radcliffle Road, Plainview.
  • May 31: Burglary; Tobias Street, Hicksville.
  • June 1: Robbery; Pine Hollow Road, Oyster Bay.
  • June 1: Grand larceny; Eldorado Boulevard, Plainview; car stolen.

  • May 30: Denese A. Samuels; charged with petit larceny; Broadway Mall, Hicksville.
  • May 31: Lori Testut; charged with petit larceny; Old Country Road, Hicksville.
  • June 1: Nayshiri N. Singh; charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree; Broadway Mall, Hicksville.
