Following an investigation, Robbery Squad detectives arrested James Sullivan, 22, of 81 Old Brook, Dix Hills, on Tuesday and charged him in connection with the Oct. 18th attempted heist at the
Sullivan was arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court, Hempstead, on charges of attempted robbery, Nassau police said.

The incident occurred that Tuesday afternoon at 4:20 p.m. when a white male wearing a green sweater and a white baseball cap entered the at 404 Woodbury Road.
The suspect, described as in his mid 20s and 6-feet tall, wearing a green pullover sweater, blue jeans, sunglasses and a white baseball cap, handed a demand note to a teller.

The subject left the bank without any proceeds and was observed walking through the parking lot westbound towards South Oyster Bay Road, police said. There were ten employees and four customers present at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.
