A fire in an electrical box forced the on South Oyster Bay Road to close Wednesday evening.
The Plainview Fire Department responded to a phone alarm for a
fire in at 6:10 p.m.
Arriving units found a slight smokey haze and evacuated the store.
Searches found an electrical fire in the main electrical box for the store. Firefighters the entire store. No injuries were reported and LIPA was notified because power was out.
