Firefighters Confront Car Fire on Parkway
Car was fully involved with flames when firefighters arrived.
Plainview firefighters battled a car fire Sunday afternoon on the Northern State Parkway ramp to the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway.
Firefighters received multiple calls at 1:18 p.m.of a car fire at the exit ramp and found the car fully engulfed in flames.
Multiple Plainview units responded and were joined by crews from Syosset. They quickly extinguished the fire and secured the area, firefighters said.
No injuries were reported.
