Hail to Plainview's New Chief!

Fire Department installs Chief Craig Robinson in ceremony at fire house.

Plainview has a new fire chief in veteran Plainview volunteer firefighter Craig Robinson. 

In a ceremony last week at the Headquarters on Old Country Road, Robinson became the 47th Chief in the history of the Plainview Volunteer Fire Department. He was sworn in along with his deputies and officers. Members of the Fire Commission also took their oaths of office at the annual event.

Robinson replaces former Chief James Mertz.
