Hope Drive Home Damaged by Morning Fire

Plainview and area fire companies combine forces to put out blaze.

A pre-dawn fire heavily damaged a home on Hope Drive in Plainview Wednesday.

Plainview firefighters responded to the call just after 6 a.m. in dense fog and found heavy fire as smoke billowed from the garage at 11 Hope Dr., firefighters said.

Crews stretched two lines to attack the blaze -- one to the garage, another to the home -- and pulled ceilings to prevent the fire from extended into the attic.
