Infants Being Evaluated after Old Country Road Crash
Two-car crash happened in front of Morton Village.
Two infants were transported to Plainview Hospital Sunday afternoon for evaluation Sunday after a two-car crash on Old Country Road.
Plainview firefighters responded to the crash on Old Country Road at Carol Place, across from the Morton Village Shopping Center.
A Volkswagen Beetle and a Nissan Murano collided there in the mid-day crash. The occupants of both vehicles refused medical attention at the scene. The infants' conditions were not immediately available, but appeared to be OK, firefighters said.
Firefighters applied speedy dry to a large fluid spill in the roadway and secured the scene.
