Kids OK After Plainview School Bus Collision

Two buses collide with parked car on Pasadena Drive. Students walked back to school.

No children where injured Tuesday when two school buses collided with a parked car on Pasadena Drive, authorities said.

Plainview firefighters and Nassau County Police units responded to the crash just blocks from Pasadena School about 3 p.m. Tuesday and found about 50 children on the bus. School officials took the children off the vehicle and escorted on foot back to Pasadena School, firefighters said.

No injuries were reported.

Firefighters applied speedy dry to a fluid spill in the roadway and secured the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
