Nassau Cops Report New Car Vandalism

But number of incidents drop from last week.

Reports of car vandalism continue in the Plainview area but the number decreased from last week.

Nassau County Police reported four incidents of car vandalism were reported in the Second Precinct last week, with just two reported in the northern side of the precinct.

Cars in Syosset, Westbury, and Levittown were targeted by vandals in both residential and commercial areas. Three of the four cars were scratched, while a car in Levittown was reportedly found with slashed tires.

Incidents last week were also tamer than recent reports where police said cars had broken windshields and in one case, dog feces smeared on victims' cars.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
