A rush-hour crash on Old Country Road left one woman injured Tuesday morning and snarled traffic through the morning rush hour in Plainview, authorities said.
Nassau County Police units were first on the scene of the crash between a Jeep and a Cablevision truck on Old Country Road in front of the the Burger King restaurant. An unidentified woman was injured and debris was scattered across the roadway. The operator of the truck was not hurt.
Both westbound lanes were closed along with one eastbound lane causing major delays during the morning rush hour. Traffic was diverted through surrounding streets.
The injured woman's condition could not be learned.
