Plainview Man Missing; Alert Issued

Nassau Police looking for 25-year-old Plainview resident who may be headed for Long Beach.

Nassau County Police are looking for a 25-year-old Plainview man now missing since Friday.

Police have issued a for Hong S. Kim, 25, of Plainview, who was last seen at home on Friday about 10 p.m. They said Kim was depressed.

No photo of the man was immediately available.

Kim is described as Asian, about 6-feet tall, 140 pounds with black hair and black eyes. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a dark tee shirt and sandals.

Police say is possible destination is Long Beach.

The Silver Alert Program disseminates information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from mental disorders goes missing.

If you have information about the missing man, call 911.

I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
