Police Hunt 2 in Brutal Hicksville Attack

Victim was assaulted by two subjects, knocked to the ground and kicked.

Nassau County Detectives are seeking clues to a brutal robbery that took place in Hicksville on Friday night.

The Second Squad said a 38-year-old man was set upon from behind by two unknown men Friday about 10 p.m. The victim was walking on Kiwanis Place in the vicinity of James Street when one subject struck the victim in the head while the second subject pulled him to the ground.

The assailants began to kick the victim and an IPOD was stolen from the victim’s pocket, police said.

Both attackers fled the scene on foot towards the Hicksville Long Island Railroad Station. The victim was transported to a nearby where he was treated for non life-threatening injuries. There is no further description of the subjects.

I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
