The terrible incident in Reno Friday raises the question: Are these safe enough?
There was a horrific airshow crash in Reno, Nevada, Friday where at least three people were killed and dozens badly hurt, the Huffington Post and other major news organizations reported.
A modified World War II era fighter plane, a P51 "Mustang" suddenly nosedived into a crowd in the grandstands.
On Long Island, we have regular summer airshows at Farmingdale's ,not far from Plainview, as well as Jones Beach involving vintage aircraft.
