A school bus carrying two children collided with a car Friday morning, toppling the bus on its side and leaving five people hurt.

The crash took place about 8:11 a.m. Friday on Plainview Road and Shadow Lane in Woodbury. Firefighters from Syosset and Nassau County Police units responded and found three people inside the bus, two children and the driver; all had suffered minor injuries are are being treated, authorities said.

I was at the scene before Police, EMS, and Fire arrived and all of the children were at 153 Plainview Road in the house with a parent. So to correct this article, Nassau County Police units did not find anyone in the bus. I watched as they arrived and did a bus sweep to check for passengers and to shut the bus off.
