Two-car collision sends several people to area hospitals after crash at Newbridge and Old Country roads.
Nassau County Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash at the busy intersection of Newbridge and Old Country Road in Hicksville.
The crash took place about 2 p.m. and sent several people to area hospitals. The extent of their injuries were not immediately available, police said.
Police and Hicksville firefighters were at the scene for several hours, probing the cause of the crash and removing the wreckage.
