Storm Keeps Fire Department Rolling

Wire fires, fallen trees bring out firefighters.

The Plainview Fire Department responded to more 38  calls for downed electrical wires and downed trees on houses. during this weekend's storm.

Nearly 3,000 Plainview customers lost power in the storm.

A fire department sign had warned Saturday that the department couldn't put its vehicles on the road if wind speeds reach 50 MPH or higher, because of state rules.
