Tell Us: Leftover Tree Remains

Are there still tree trunks lining your street in the Plainview area?

Clean up efforts continue as the five-week anniversary of Hurricane Sandy passed this week.

As Town of Oyster Bay officials continue hauling a record amount of trees to Town facilities, debris continues to appear on local streets.

While Shore Road has been one of the most devastated streets due to erosion, trees are still lining neighborhood streets.

Where is there debris in your neighborhood? Are certain areas of town still filled with tree trunks and branches? Are you still actively looking for a way to get rid of them or have they become a regular part of the background?

Tell us in the comments below.

Richard, I agree. This road has so many potholes that were fixed, it dips and the county trees haveRead More lifted it up in areas that now hold water. I have ben living here for over 30 years, and I cannot recall it ever being done. It needs to be done soon, I so agree with you. Maybe Mangano will see this and do something, then again if we lived in Bethpage, it would of been done already.
