Two Car Crash Near Shop Rite Leaves One Hurt

Driver transported to hospital; second driver refuses treatment.

Plainview firefighters were called to the scene of a two-car crash on Old Country Road just before noon this afternoon.

Nassau Police units and firefighters evaluated two drivers. One was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second driver refused medical attention at the scene.

The cause of the accident, which took place near ShopRite in the Morton Village Plaza, is under investigation.
