Vehicle Crashes into Rail Guard off LIE

One person was transported Wednesday evening to a nearby hospital after a sedan crashed into the guard rail on Sunnyside Blvd off the LIE. No further details about the extent of the injuries were immediately available.

The Plainview Fire Department responded to the scene and applied an oil absorbent surrounding the crash site.
