Victim Airlifted after Crash on Old Country Road

One person was badly injured in a multi-car crash on Old Country Road Friday.

Plainview firefighters were called just after 2 p.m. Friday to the crash at 1181 Old Country Road. Responding firefighters found one of the car's engine on fire.

Multiple police and firefighting units responded to the scene.

On victim had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, authorities said.

Giving the address is nice but it would be nicer giving the cross street or something nearby. For example, this accident was on Old Country Rd. just east of the intersection with Manetto Hill Rd.

It really doesn't matter what the address is or what the cross street is but what really bothers me is the "photographer" had to put his "signature" on the photo. Afraid of people stealing his picture of this poor person's totaled car. Smh.

I agree about defacing the photo. If you want to do that then it shouldn't be published on a news site.

no good on the water mark.. who cares. if its on Facebook or instagram its their property now either way..
