Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in any of these four local accidents Tuesday.

In Plainview, there was a morning crash at Old Country and Round Swamp roads. One woman was transported to Plainview Hospital with minor injuries. A second driver refused medical attention at the scene.

Overnight in Farmingdale, a driver flipped his vehicle on a residential street near Hempstead Turnpike. Police said the driver fled the scene.

Then, Tuesday afternoon, a car crashed into a utility pole on Plainview Road. In this instance, Bethpage firefighters responded. The woman was transported to a local hospital; her injuries were described as minor.

There was a fourth reported accident, considerably more minor, near the Service Road of the LIE Tuesday afternoon. No further reports were available.
