Jacobs is Honored Guest at Parade
Nassau Legislator is moved by big Plainview Parade Monday
Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) attended theon May 30 and was moved by the experience.
“A little rain did not dampen the spirits of those gathering for the Plainview parade which always attracts numerous participants as well as spectators," Jacobs said. "Mid-parade the sun started to shine down on many happy faces all sharing in the meaning of Memorial Day.
"Many moving words were spoken at the end of the parade and the children of Plainview/Old Bethpage joined in song for all gathered. It was a memorable Memorial Day,” she said.
