Last Chance: Party for Nassau Seniors Wednesday

If your birthday falls in March, Wednesday is your last chance to celebrate Nassau County's senior citizens birthday party hosted by at the Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

The event will provide those 65 and older with access to government services provided by the Nassau County Offices of Aging, Consumer Affairs, Assessment, Health and Human Services, Housing, Social Services and Veterans Services.

The event is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. at the Fairground Building, located at 1303 Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage.

The celebration includes lunch along with coffee, cake, and other refreshments.  Entertainment is provided by the Moonlight Serenaders and all attendees will have an opportunity to participate in bingo. 

Attendees will receive a “goody bag” full of information related to celebrating the “Golden Years,” along with a free photo identification card. 

The remaining Senior Citizen Birthday Celebration schedule for 2012 is: April 25, May 30, June 27, July 25, Aug. 29, Sept. 19, Oct. 24, Nov. 14 and Dec. 4.
