No Sanitation Pickup on New Year's Day
But just like Christmas week, the rest of the week's collections are on their normal days.
Town sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collection will maintain normal schedules in observance of the New Year’s holidays.
On Wednesday, Jan. 1, there will be no sanitation or recycling collection Town-wide and all town offices will be closed on New Year’s Days.
All Town of Oyster Bay offices will be closed a half day on the afternoon Dec. 31, in observance of New Year’s Eve, but there will be normal town sanitation and S.O.R.T. recycling collections on Tuesday.
For example, if your regular pickup day is Thursday (Jan. 2) there will be regular pickup that day. The only day impacted this week is Wednesday.
