Nassau County Legislator , D-Woodbury, joined County Executiveas he lit the dome of the County Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola earlier this month to celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts.
“The number of years are a special indicator of the great work that has been handed down from generation to generation as young girls continue to blossom from Daisies to Eaglettes," said Jacobs, who was joined by local Girl Scouts at the ceremony on March 9.
"Girl Scouting has touched so many lives and will continue nurturing young women for many years to come,” she said.
